What is this:
It's part of home made primer filler that I bought on-line from someone about 4 or 5 years ago.
When the black button on the side of the unit is pressed, the unit vibrates causing the primers to move around in the tray and fall down into the primer tubes. It works on a similar principle to other primer feed devices with about an 85% success rate and the same problems, stuck primers, upside down primers, etc.
Anyway, the contraption in top picture is about in need of replacement and I don't think he still makes them. Anybody know what it is.
