a man can use lavender in his grooming not be a "girly man" or what you may call it. i actually shave with a traditional straight razor and lavender soap, it's a very nice scent. i can't tolerate Gillette, it doesn't work right with a straight razor. it's like shooting blackpowder with smokeless lube. the lavender soap is made by local artisans, and i find it to be better than anything from a can. it smells better too. i can get a better shave that is both closer and non irritating, and it doesn't make me any less masculine.
