I currently own a Springfield Armory P9 LSP in .40S&W. It's a good, accurate gun and I have had no real problems with it, except for it not wanting to feed truncated lead bullets on some target loads. It has the parkerized finish, 2- 12 round magazines and the original box and manuals. I'm the first owner and it has about 500 rounds through it. Otherwise a smooth and accurate pistol. It is a tad large for concealed carry, at least on my frame, and I am trying to determine if it would be a better idea to keep it as a collector or trade/sell it to get something else I can put to better use. Any reasonable comments will be welcomed.

The Springfield P9 series was actually produced in Italy by Tanfoglio and assembled and finished here by Springfield.

Tanfoglio actually made almost all the various CZ clones and the guns were sold here in the US by a number of companies.
The current importer is EAA, European American Armory. They offer a number of models in various caliber and options.
They are considered to be a "best buy" by most owners.

The P9 was one of the best "clones" of the CZ-75, and has a very good reputation for quality, accuracy, and reliability.

To keep or sell is something only you can answer.

They were imported at the wrong time.
I think they would sell very well nowdays.
