I have my fathers Springfield 1911-A1. It has the Cross Cannon logo before the ejection port on the slide. Serial begins with "NM", from which I have determined means it was assembled in the US. Its parkerized with plastis grips.
Shot very little, less than 500 rnds. Have original cardboard box and all paperwork that came with it at purchase. Also is holstered in a Springfield Armory canvas GI style rig.
Wondering value of this pistol. Not selling, but figure its worth more than the $350 the local dealer said its worth. He really wanted me to sell it to him....
