Hey y'all,
Just wondering if anyone out there has expereince with the Springfield P9, which I understand is a CZ clone made mostly by Tanfaglio(?). Have a chance at one in .40s&w for around 3bills. Are the mags unusual or hard to find?

How are they reliability-wise; accuracy? approx. value? Thanks!

Even without seeing it I would say that for $300 it sounds like a pretty good deal.

I bought this Springfield P9 in 40 back in 2009 and paid $500 for it. It's the factory Comp version and came with the original box and extra mag. I ended up selling it about a year ago and I kinda regret it but I've just never been a fan of .40. If it had been chambered in 9mm I'm sure I'd still have it to this day, it was a really smooth shooting gun with a nice trigger.

I have a P9 in .40. I paid like $400 for the gun and 2 mags. They are made by Tanfoglio of Italy and were imported by Springfield Armory somewhere between 1990-1994 before they had a falling out. They are now imported by EAA as the Witness line. I believe they will take any mag designed for the small frame Witness, and possibly CZ 75 .40 factory/Mac-Gar mags.

I paid more than 300$ for my P9 40 NIB back in the 90's. It was worth it then and still worth it today. Great gun, reliable and great trigger. Get it.
