Horizontal versus Vertical Carrier for Surefire 6P

Hello Everyone,

For over a decade I have carried my trusty Surefire 6P flashlight in a horizontal carrier on the front strongside part of my belt. I've just worn out my second carrier and must buy a new one.

Can anyone make the case for a switch to a vertical carrier? If yes, which brand and model is your favorite?

If you favor horizontal carry as I have for many years what is your favorite brand and model of such a carrier?

If I were to stay with horizontal carry I would like to find Kydex carrier that held the light by friction fit all the way over the bezel portion of the 6P.

I use the Surefire factory plastic holster.

This is the most rugged light holder I have ever worn, capable of bouncing off doorjambs and workbenches all day long.

Never used a horizontal light carrier, just do not know where I could fit it on my belt that I would not sit or lay on it.
