Hornady 444 marlin short brass?

Is there a problem belling subject 444 with a standard 3 die set?

I am having a problem getting them to bell. Is it just a matter of die adjustment?

Belling the brass wasn't a problem with my older RCBS dies and Hornady short brass. Crimping them was. I had to order a Lee factory crimp die and it works great on the short and long brass,

If you are belling standard length .444 brass, then switch to shorty brass, yes... you will have to adjust your die down.
