OK, guys. As the title says. I've very recently gotten into reloading for my AR-15 and have settled on Reloader 15 as my powder. I started out with a box of 500 77gr SMKs and burned through those this weekend. I've been very impressed with the results as my AR-15 now runs neck and neck with some pretty nice bolt guns.

The SMKs run about $110 for a box of 500. I went to order more and saw that I can get a box of Hornady 75gr Match BTHPs for around $85 for a box of 600, which is a much more reasonable price. I'm all for saving money, but not at the expense of accuracy.

Does anyone have experience with both of these bullets? Are they comparable or is one clearly better than the other?

Thanks.

I have loaded both, and would say that it will just depend on what your particular rifle likes. Both are good bullets.
