I'm getting ready to order some more bullets for reloading for my AR. I'd ordered some from Everglades Ammo, thought I'd ordered 68gr HPBT, got 75gr instead. My gun is a 1:9 twist, didn't know if the 75gr would work, they did, quite well. Wanted to order some more, came across some Hornady 75gr HPBT on sale, 600 for the same price Everglades is selling 500 for..so, wondering if the Hornady ammo will work in my gun, will it stabilize? Does anyone know how similar these two bullets are? I'd hate to order and find out the Hornady bullets won't work in my gun. I know 75gr is border line for a 1:9 twist.

Go to the JBM stability calculator and see if they'll stabilize. May have to take a measurement/avg of the bullet lengths.

I'll see if I can find some quick links.

Apparently, the Hornady 75gr HPBT will work, thanks for the link. I'll need to file that somewhere, thanks!
