I'd like to thank Hornady's customer service team for being responsive to my needs as a consumer and as a firearms enthusiast.

I had purchased several boxes of TAP 00 Buckshot ammunition with questionable crimps - the ammunition cycles and fires alright, but the crimps appeared to be undoing themselves over time.

I contacted Hornady, whom provided me with a call-tag for shipping the ammunition back to them via UPS. Approximately one week later, they called me and told me that they agree with me about the crimps, and would like to issue replacement ammo. They also mentioned that they have new machinery for ensuring adequate crimps on their shotgun rounds.

However, no TAP ammunition was available. Hornady offered to send me Critical Defense in 00 buck as a replacement, which despite branding is essentially the same ammunition at 1600 ft/s. I asked if they had anything else and Hornady agreed to send me rounds from their new product line "Heavy Magnum Coyote" which include 1.5 oz of nickel plated 00 Buckshot at 1300 ft/s in a 3" shell.

I appreciate a company that stands by their products. Thank, Hornady - you've got my business.
 
I use their press and dies and they have always been very helpful. I've never had to wait on hold for more than a few minutes. Besides, their voice menu is a hoot.
 
Good post. Guys always post when they get a bad product and no satisfaction so it is good to hear when a Company stands by their products with more then lips service.
