Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Neither of my books have data for 230 gr Hornady HAP and W231 for .45ACP.
One has 225 gr JHP and 230 gr TMJ the other has a generic 230 gr jacketed, and a 230 gr XTP. I'm assuming since they are so similar XTP data is what I'd want to use, but that book only has data for Accurate #7 powder.
Will be using mixed 1x brass (mostly RP & WIN HS), Hornady HAP 230 gr, W231, & Winchester standard LPP. Will be shooting from 4" & 5" 1911's. Where should I look for data for this combination? This is my first time loading .45ACP (or any pistol cartridge).
Also, is there a more comprehensive source of data other than the two I have - they both seem to be lacking. I have the Lee Modern Reloading 2nd ed. & Lyman 49th ed. I've gotta say from all the recs for Lyman #49 I'm finding it quite a disappointment. The upfront instructional stuff is great, but when it comes to actual data it doesn't have much for some very common stuff like .223, .45ACP, 9mm, .380, etc.
