I decided to buy Dillon's primer warning system to see if I could make it work on my Hornady Lock-N-Load progressive press. Imagine my surprise when it went right on. It's a snug fit on the plastic retainer at the top of the primer tube - the part called the "primer tube support" in the manual. It's not the sturdiest of mounts, but it should be ok until I get around to mounting it to the primer tube proper. I figure I can cut off the mounting ears and fab up something else that mounts lower on the warning unit so it can clamp to the metal primer tube and not the plastic support.

The plastic rod that comes with the warning device does need to be trimmed by about 1/2" in order to indicate correctly. I'm also going to need a can of red spray paint. :p
