I have the Hornady manual here opened to the 45ACP section and I'm looking at the page for 230gr FMJ-RN bullets. They show a COAL of 1.230. both the Speer and Lyman manuals show a COAL of 1.260 - 1.280 which seems more in line with what I've seen. I created a few rounds with a COAL of 1.230 and they do not feed reliably in my Combat Commander. I've run about a thousand rounds through it though of the plated bullets from TheBulletWorks.net with a COAL of 1.265 and they feed beautifully.
Do you think that's a misprint in the Hornady manual?
