Hi guys,

Was wondering if any of you guys who owns a copy of the Hornady Reloading Manual could do me a favor? I recently obtained a BUNCH of Hornady XTP bullets in 9mm and 45acp. My Lyman book doesn't cover much of the XTPs, plus any that it does cover I would like to cross-check with Hornady's own book.

Was wondering if anyone could post the recommended COAL from the Hornady manual. These are the ones I need:

9mm:
115gr XTP
124gr XTP
147gr XTP

.45acp:
185gr XTP
200gr XTP
230gr XTP

Again, looking for data from the Hornady Reloading Manual (not Lyman, not Sierra, not internet, not your own homemade recipe lol). Thanks guys!

Factory 200 and 230 Gr XTP in .45 ACP is 1.233ish (1.230 to 1.235) I do not know about the 185 Gr XTP or the 9MM XTP's..

Welcome to THR

Much appreciated! I've been lurking for awhile since 07, but thanks for the welcome.

Still looking for the rest of the data. Thanks a bunch!

All from Hornady's 7th(Newest) Edition. If you need more information such as load data PM me and I would be happy to send it to you. I have always appreciated this site for being able to get accurate data without having to buy every reloading manual. I have 7 now and I still come across some loads that I would like to replicate that I don't have the manual for....Happy loading!

thank you sgtzach!

The COAL is VERY different from what my Lyman books says (1.175 for the 185gr). They probably use very different loads. If it is not too much trouble, I'm going to take you up on your offer and PM you for some more powder load info
