How well does the Hornady Powder Measure work on the LoadMaster? It looks like a better system. I load mostly 9 mm and 223.

Thanks

You would have to get the Hornady case activated powder system along with the powder measure and powder drop tubes (aka PDX) for the Hornady measure to work automatically.

The case activated kit from Hornady includes a powder drop die, linkage, drop tube that screws into the powder measure, part that attaches to the powder measure for the linkage to attach to, and return spring. Then you have to get a drop tube for the caliber bullet you are loading as it can also flare the case mouth and then the powder measure.

The case pushes up on the system activating the powder measure.

If the Loadmaster uses a 7/8"-14 threaded hole, same size as the dies, for the powder measure, then it should work fine.

Otherwise, more modification would be necessary, if possible.
