In the spirit of continually improving my reloading room, I decided I needed a better way to store shell plates than stacking them on a Gladiator Garageworks hook. I found a guy on eBay who sold holders for various presses, except Hornady. I contacted him and he said he couldn't get a hold of a plate to measure. Five minutes later, I fixed that issue for him. He sent out one for me to try. The photos in the listing are mine. The plates fit well and feel very secure. I ordered two more.

I think it's a weight factor. Unless you are screwing them into a stud, they will probably pull out of the wall overtime with more weight.

I used the blue boxes too, but went back to the original packaging, on pegboard, when I reorganized and needed the shelf space.

This looks interesting, but they are currently out of stock...maybe he just hasn't built up stock yet. Interestingly, he is charging $15 for the Hornady one, but only $12.50 for other brands

That’s pretty cool but I keep all the accoutrements I need that are single caliber specific in separate clear plastic bins. That way when I need to switch calibers, I grab the box that has the new caliber and it’s all in one spot. I force myself to have both prior and new caliber boxes open at the same time and make sure the right calibers go in the right boxes. Good luck.

It may not make a lot of sense for folks with dozens of plates but that is an issue I do not have
I plan on a caliber-centric, simple single digit filing system where each plate has it's own spot.
2(23),3(8),4(5),6(.5), and 9 It will be nice to reach for a plate and get the one I want the first time.

Maybe I haven't put to much thought into it as I just use the original the packaging that they came in

I do as well plus I put everything I use for loading each caliber in a Tupperware container. Shell plate, shell holder, dies, powder die, PTX expander and stop.

Mine was the prototype. They take 13 hours to print, so it's pretty safe to assume he didn't build a huge inventory.

What do you do for the calibers that use the same plate as another?
