Is there a problem using Caps? I do a lot of writing and all Caps is the norm. Seems that on the forums people get offended by them. Anyone got an answer?
The Aguila Super Maximum is by far the hottest round I've fired. Interestingly, when fired from my Firestorm FS22, they cut pristine 38 caliber holes in target paper. Seriously, it looks like some took a paper hole puncher to the target.
I've fired some of those aguilla super maximum before, from my remington 597. Those are some of the loudest and fastest 22lr i've seen, you could really hear the rounds whizzing doing range - firing some federal bulk next to them was like hearing a .22 short compared to a normal 22lr from a pistol - the difference was pronounced.
Down side is...they were the dirtiest .22lr rounds i've ever shot
I tried to find the Aguilla Super Maximum here in Tulsa and can't find it. Am told it is a Mexican ammo and not consistent. Anyone have problems with it?
Aguila is the fastest, Stingers are the 2nd fastest. If you're looking for defensive though I'd stay away from the Stingers for sure as they a slow burning powder and not much is burned before the bullet leaves the barrel of a handgun. The best defensive one I can find is the CCI Velocitor, 40 grains moving that fast will penetrate very well - especially next to your 30 grain.
I never really understood the "caps" thing either. A letter is a letter, caps or not. I can understand it's not proper, but it's only the internet. Mountains-molehills IMO.
I made a mistake in posting in all CAPS. I did so not knowing that it is considered rude. I am posting this in the auto thread as it is the only one that I use and all the problems are in this heading.
I looked up the proper etiquette for forum posting and learned a lot. Also found out that trolling is rude, not staying on subject is rude, to make a derogatory remark to someone is rude, and to correct someone should be done in a private message and not to do so is rude. Seems there are a lot of rude people on here. I can say I did not know any better. Like to hear what others think.
