Texas Gun Owner.com is looking for safety minded Texans who would like to get out and shoot in a relaxed, social, family setting. We have lots of wives and kids that come out.


Current schedule is:

Houston, 2nd Saturday
Austin, 3rd Saturday
San Antonio, 4th Sunday
Dallas, last Sunday of the month.

What range for Houston events? Steel cased ammo OK? What about big bore rifles?

American Shooting Center off Westheimer Parkway and Hwy 6. Steel case is fine, but no armor piercing. What do you consider big bore? I believe .50 cal is good, but you may have to be on the 100 yd or greater.
