CHL holders entering Houston City Hall will not be issued the usual
visitor's identification, but will be required to wear a unique, red
badge indicating that: "This person is armed."
CHL holders get a
"special" visitor's ID. Plainclothes cops don't get this special ID because
they have their OWN identification cards/tags (which apparently they wear).
Likewise federal and state officers.
Further: When they enter the building, CHL holders are given a card and
verbal notification that handguns are not allowed at city council meetings.
The new Texas law allowing CHL into municpal buildings couldn't go 5 minutes without someone getting their panties in a knot about it....
