I just found out about this place in Tomball, several people told me its a decent place to buy guns from and they arent like a typical pawn shop, rather they are a full time gun shop.

I was wondering what they are like to deal with and most importantly, what are their prices like?

For instance what would a Glock 17 or 19 run?

Download the catalog from CDNN.If this pawn shop has comparable prices, then that's good.CDNN may not have all the gun models you'll see at this shop, but CDNN is about the lowest pricing you'll find on used guns...CDNN is currently selling "test-fired" G19 pistols for $439,and used-excellent trade-ins for $399...

My daughter bought a Bersa 380 there about a year ago the stainless
model for 199.00 plus tax had her CHL and we left 20 minutes later for the range to try it out . I go in there to look to see if they have anything I might
be looking for and found them very helpful.

I have never been there, and we have pretty good prices at Champion Firearms in College Station - In Houston, the only decent prices I ever see is at the gun shows.

But, I have seen a lot of positive comments about that Tomball place - supposedly, good prices.

I had an unpleasant experience at Tomball Pawn many years ago and have not been back. Went in to look around and expressed interest in a gun on the rack behind counter. Salesman handed it to me and walked away. Another salesman came by and asked me in a nasty tone if I was going to buy that gun. I replied that I didn't know yet. He grabbed the gun from my hands, put it back into the rack, and walked off. Guess he thought I had just walked over and picked the gun off rack myself. Anyway I was much offended by his actions and have not returned to that establishment. Have spent a small fortune at Carter's Country instead during the intervening years.

Good shooting and be safe.

I went to Tomball Pawn the other day. Previously the best in-store price I could find on a P2000sk was at Jim Pruetts and it was 839.99. I asked the guy at the counter at Tomball and he told me $685!!

If you are looking for something shoot them an email and they will tell you how much it cost. They have a nice selection for a pawn shop but its not quite as big as say Carter's Country. The prices on the guns I looked at are outstanding and the service is good considering how busy they are.

they are great to deal with, very knowledgeable people, with a good selection of guns, not just what you see up front either. And if they don't have it, they will order it asap, and they must have good sources, because I have asked if it was possible to get something pretty exotic, and the guy called me back two days later, and said, yep , he can get it here in one day. Their prices can be both up and down, but you don't have to worry about trying to negotiate a better price, sometimes they will do it, sometimes not, just depends on their inventory , mosty. They also have a variety of used 22's , that allways manage to catch my eye.

I do business there sometimes...in general good people to deal with. NIB glocks are about $450 - $480 there IIRR. Academy has new glocks also. I mostly go to a gun show if i'm in the market for a new gun. I find always better deals there...one thing i noticed at gunsows around here is that small dealers or individuals with tables try to sell used guns for as much or more then what you can get it there NIB. Check out AJC Guns for Great deals on new guns. CDNN isn't such a great place to buy from if you live in texas and have to pay the sales tax.
