Well now that I have moved from Maryland to Birmingham, Alabama, I will be attending my first gun show here next Sat. (11/27) - so I was wondering what you all think of the shows here.
My only point of reference is the Maryland shows - I thought the Silverado ones they had at the Timonium Fairgrounds were pretty cool (500 tables) but the smaller ones were somewhat lame.
Next week's is at the BJCC, which seems pretty large, so I hope I am not setting myself up for disappointment (i.e. just because I am in a gun friendly state vs gun unfriendly the gun shows are better).
BTW, if any THRs are there, I'll be the blonde guy in the Ravens jersey with his fiancee (who will be on the prowl for good earplugs for her woodworking hobby - a good way to get her to go to the shows with me!
