How are you doing during this shortage?

Thanks for asking!

My powder stocks are up, based on some internet vendors having Unique and Trail Boss in stock. Still unable to find .40 and .44 plated bullets; plenty of lead .44 bullets, however. 9mm pretty easy to find.

I just picked up some HP-38 and Accurate #5 at Greentop, north of Richmond -- they were well stocked in many items, and had lots of ammo, as of last Sunday!

Really?

Powder Valley has plenty of Berry's .40 plated bullets - http://www.powdervalleyinc.com/

TJ Conevera has plenty of Berry's/X-Treme .40 plated bullets - http://www.tjconevera.com/

Rocky Mountain Reloading has .40 and .44 plated bullets - http://www.shop.rmrbullets.com/44_c17.htm;jsessionid=B064D2B8479FEE7C707EF43B0960C3CD.m1plqscsfapp01
I have not had that much trouble finding reloading components and I haven't cut back on my shooting either. I don't load all that much for pistol, so what I have is plenty for what I do.
For rifle I shoot 7 different calibers and I have been able to replenish my supply and not at panic prices either. I just bought 5000 federal small rifle primers for $150. I haven't had to pay panic prices for any of the components I replaced nor will I contribute to the shooter madness that we the shooters created.

I have been reloading close to 40 years---the only shortage I had was when after 5 years it was time to change my walnut media I had to wait 2 weeks to find some new--from now on our government will be full of Obama types----keep a good supply & you will live a more relaxed life.
Unfortunately, this post is correct.

The only thing I haven't been able to find that I don't have enough of is IMR4064.

And I haven't been able to find enough time to shoot, but that's probably made things easier.

Matt
I was able to pick up 2 lbs of 4064 yesterday. I might go pick up another 2lbs today if they still have any left. That should last me at least until next spring.

Now if I could find some 257 Roberts brass.

Matt

I thought that would happen so I loaded up on every thing. I found some 223 bullets this last week and got 2000 of them.

I haven't run out of any components yet, I always have been able to find what I'm looking for before it's too late. I now have a two year supply of powder and primers, and a 1 year supply of bullets. If I can stay a year ahead I'll be thrilled.
You just gotta watch the sites and have good timing, but components are out there to be had.
