How authentic?

I pickedup a brand new Dan Wesson CBOB about three weeks ago. It shoots great, like my Kobra Carry. But here's the "issue": its serial # is C9****CZ - (i) how many MIM parts might these much later versions of the CBOB have? (ii) why does my particular gun have one digit more in its serial # than the ones I've seen discussed? Sorry if this is really a non-issue. But thanks for any helpful input.
