Disappears easily. Very concealable.

I carry mine in a Comp-tac CTAC holster and it works like a dream.

You'll not regret it.

I've got the M&P compact in .40. I carry it in an IWB Kramer #2. Comfy, light and hides well

The M&P compact is my current carry gun. When I first got my permit (CA) I was very conscientious of the with of the slide as I’m a smaller thinner guy but soon found that it was truly concealed and invisible behind my cover garment. The real factors in concealing any gun is carry location, holster, wardrobe, and body shape. I carry my M&P right on the hipbone at 3:00. This allows my some bending without the end of the grip printing but amplifies the with of the gun, my sisters colt commander is much easer for me to conceal in this position because of the narrower slide. Most people (I think) carry just behind their hip around 4:00, this was more comfortable and worked great for standing straight up but any forward bending gave an obvious print which was unacceptable to me. I think there are too many variable for some one on the net to answer the question. I have found it to be fairly easy to conceal but there is no way my wife who is 5’0” and less then 100lbs could conceal it with out a serious change in wardrobe…think ghetto baggy.
