I love 22's and when I first joined this and other forums, it was the first thing that came to mind. I also use "slingshot" on a couple of forums for a little variety.
When I tried to join an internet forum some years ago it was already taken! So I tacked on some letters until I got something that was available. Then I just kept using it.

I have been active in politics since I was a 10 year old. Luckily I still embrace the conservative politics my grandparents and parents instilled in me at a young age. My friends nicknamed me the GOPkid (as in Grand Old Party)when I was about 13. Now at age 43 with my own kids, my son who is now 13 is very interested in politics. So when he plays trivia at say a Damons or something like that he plays as GOP Kid and I play as GOPGuy. I guess when he hits 20 I will let him become GOPGuy and I will be GOPGeezer
My Daughter is GOPGirl and my Wife GOPGal. We have the whole Republican angle covered.
I collect and repair inexpensive mechanical watches. Before I knew what to look for, I accidentally bought a counterfeit Seiko 5 from Ebay. When I got it, discovered that the rotor was engraved "Sevesteen Jewels", and the movement was one of the very cheapest, crappiest Chinese automatics--Sort of like ordering a Taurus and getting a Hi-Point with Taurus markings. I did what I could to hassle the seller, and kept the name to use on watch forums.
In the mid-90s I was one of the networking geeks in my circle of friends, a go-to guy for setting up LAN parties and such. Back then, 10BASE-2 and 10BASE-T were the Ethernet implementations of choice...somehow it stuck...
