"Replacement should be reserved for when repair is neccessary."
IMHO, not bad advice for parts and springs in general. I know it is the fad to buy a brand new pistol, then proceed to change everything in sight on the premise that the factory engineers are idiots and only after market parts makers working in a basement know what they are doing. Do folks know something I don't, or am I just behind the times in not fixing what ain't broke?
