How do I send a gun in?

Planning on buying a Kahr PM9 and if I do have problems can I send it in to the company myself or do I have to take it into a dealer to send it back? The reason why I ask is because Im trying to figure out where I should buy my gun....One place is really good at customer service and is close to home but I can get it cheaper about 45 minutes away but dont want to return if I have a problem and need to send it to the company for repair.....Thanks! drf

You can send it UPS or Fed-Ex. An FFL dealer can mail it for you, but you are not able to.

I live in Michigan. Does anyone know the law regarding sending fireams...drf

Just contact your nearest Fed Ex or UPS center for details on shipping handguns. I strongly suggest Fed Ex over UPS.
In a short version the handgun must be packaged unloaded. You have to ship to a FFL holder. It will be shipped next day air. You fill out the appropiate forms.
