How do you feel about grips made of buffalo bone and carving?

Have you made any revolver Grips ? If so what about a Vaquaro Birds Head
in the Maerble with a matching set for a conventional Vaquero Grip.
I would be interested in purchasing.

I have Camel Bone or Buffalo on 4 of my 1911s and love the grips. I currently
have Buffalo on the 2 Stainless Vaquros I usually shooot in SASS Shoots but I think your
Marble Grips would look great on the Stainless.

Let us know what your going to do and give us some Pricing.

Buffalo horn grips is badly or you can't fit it to gun?

They were badly made; they did not fit the outline profile of the frame properly leaving small gaps here and there, and there were small areas where they did not bed flat against the mating surfaces.

The outline I would expect perhaps some tiny variation due to the various wartime High Powers produced in Canada and elsewhere, but the flaws were quite substantial and the mating surfaces should have been perfectly flat leaving no gaps.

If you decide to make grips for the Browning High Power I would be sure to use a modern commercial model as a template.

Are we all talking about the same kind of buffalo? In SE Asia that usually means something very different than in South Dakota. I think these are water buff, not bison.

Whatever the source of the ivory, I love them and they're hard to find stateside. The more models you could offer the better, obviously.

This is some of many new model which i will show :D .Image in factory ,unfinished product :D

Gorgeous! I would be more than happy to test them out for you and write a review for you if you like. I'm also sending a PM to you. :D

Kimson, (or should I address you as Mr. Vu?) the use of bone or horn from a domestic animal will cause problems only for ardent vegetarians and animal rights fanatics. Your work is very appealing, visually, and, if it fits the guns it is intended for, should sell well.

Please be very careful of selling, or even offering to sell elephant ivory product. To do so is against the laws of many countries. Take a look at the C.I.T.E.S. web site and do other research: I would hate ot see you run afoul of the law.

Kimsonvu - Let me add my voice to the ones of those here already complimenting you on your craftsmanship. I own a 1911 pistol, and would be extremely proud to show off even the most basic of your grips on my pistol. It's amazing the quality that you've been showing us, and from what I've seen of the prices, quite a good value as well!

As soon as I'm able, I'd love to buy a few sets of grips from you. Please continue to show us your handiwork, I believe I may be understating it when I say it's simply beautiful.

Take care -
