I've seen TFL #s in some of the signatures of folks here, and I wouldn't mind my number in my sig just to remind folks of where this all started.

I've looked.... Where in the world on TFL do you find this number?

Find a thread you posted in on TFL and click the button under the copy in your thread that says "Profile" and it will open your profile.

If you look up in the address line it says ... thefiringline.com/forums/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=6237

The number at the end is your TFL ID number (BTW, this one is Guyon's number)

Thanks Zundfolge. I never would have thought to check the URL line.

I checked it out on TFL. I also found out that my user ID here is 723.

If I believed in numerology...

You've got a 6, 2, 7, 3 at TFL and 7, 2, 3 here at THR. Let's see, we have 2, 3, and 7 represented both times. 2 + 3 = 5 and there's a number missing between it and 7. Scary!

All is lost. Saive qui peu!

That's funny.

Anyone here superstitious about serial numbers on guns? I'll admit that I wouldn't care much for a gun with 666 in the serial number. :D

Wow, 4v50 Gary, my TFL number is 10607 and my THR number is 203

so both are made up of alternating whole numbers and zeros And the whole numbers in each number increase by 1 after each zero! Also the first digit of the THR number is twice the first digit of the TFL one and the 3rd of the THR number is half the third digit of the TFL one.

Thank God I don't believe in numerology ... I have know idea what that would mean but with my luck it can't be good :scrutiny:

edit:
On a side note, the serial number on my Kahr MK40 is also a number with alternating whole numbers and zeros.
:what:

Speaking of serial numbers, my dealer recently showed me a stack of "GAYxxx" series Glocks. :uhoh:
