I shoot mine 4 inches high at 50 yards. I aiming at the bottom of rib cage at that distance. Comes down to zero at 100 yards. Where do you set your cross hairs?

2" high at 50 yards zero's at 100 in my 20 gauge H&R Ultra Slug Hunter with 3-9-40 Nikon Buckmasters scope and 2 3/4" Lightfield Hybrid EXP slugs. Aiming center mass on a deer just behind the shoulder gives me about 140 yards before I have to aim high.

2 to 3 inches high at 100.

12 Ga lightfields on left 1 1/4 oz. 1 Oz. Rem copper solids on right.

I've done this from 20 years ago with the first BRI sabots I used through winchester buying them out and transitioning to Rem solids which eventually gave me a pretty fair 2 shot group at 100 out of a 20" Ithaca Deerslayer. When I run out of solids, I'll probably try some of the newer sabots or go with Lightfields.

I have shot a few dozen deer as far as 95 paces so far.

I sighted mine in at 1.5" high at 50 yds, and 2.25" at 100yds. Giving it a zero of somewhere in the 140-150yds. Hold it in the vitals from zero- 175 yds and i should be right there. plenty enough for jersey deer at jersey distances. it's a mossberg 500, 12 ga. 24" rifled barrel, shooting hornady 300gr sst.

My H&R ultra slug 20 a couple inches highish at 50 with 3" Winchester Dual Bonds. Farthest shot has been 120, just put the crosshairs where I want the slug and the deer dies. My Mossberg 12 with 2 3/4 Hornadys just a bit high at 50, don't usually shoot past 100 with it.
