Notebook for load development and cards for favorite loads. I sit in front of a computer everyday all day as it is. I did resort to a spreadsheet for inventory tracking, but that is it.
Lots of good info here, thanks everyone! I will probably try the 3 ring binders with the PDF load sheet that someone posted. I'm definitely old school in terms of preferring to look at data on paper and not on a spreadsheet.
The old paper log book, I'd easily need four of these now. Have added calibers and lots of loads tried.
200 loads tried in .45 ACP, 124 in 9MM, 229 in .357 Mag, 117 in .38 Spl, 64 in .40 S&W (And I don't even like it much)
I have a 3-ring note book with sleeves to hold data printouts from websites, (loads selected are underlined) and a redundant journal-type note book. (a Hello Kitty one, if anyone cares. Long story.)
3 ring binder, with tabs for caliber, print outs of digital loading data from hogdens, or alliant, etc hand written notes in margins. If I can print it, I can always take a pic and print that, or just write it on notebook paper and put in the "Load data" binder.
