How do you all store your guns in your gun safe? Do you keep them in the plastic case that came with or in the open or something else? I do have 2 collector guns that have never been fired and really want to keep them in perfect shape too!!!

Thanks

On a gun rack, well several gun racks. stored loaded and accessible. I am currently saving for an original WW1 model 1911 that will be put in a custom frame.

Long guns that I use quite a bit and pistols go in the safe "naked". Long guns that are put away for the season or whatever live in silicone treated gun socks.

Long guns, (mostly old mil-surps bolt-actions) that are in open racks that I can see every day are stored "naked". Those that are stored out-of-sight in locked cabinets are in silicone-treated gun socks, as are the handguns that are stored in 20-mm mil-surp ammo cases.

In a safe.
I made a peg rack on one side for handguns

and the rifles go on the other side.
I've got room for 30 pistols, 9mm and bigger, on the pegs, about 8 long guns and a shelf for .22s and valuables.

I bought a set of plastic shelves from Wall mart and put them in my RSC to maximize the space in it. If I have a case I use it, if not I lay it on a cloth

I converted my sons old room into a gun room. Everything is displayed, tagged and organized.
