Sorry for the ambiguous thread title but for the sake of an ongoing thread I found it to be an apropriate question.
I spent Thanksgiving with a relative who teaches at a school for the blind. We were discussing the trip the family was taking to the zoo the following day and I mentioned that my son loves Sportsmans Warehouse because of all the trophy taxidermy. (He calls the store, " Big Animals", he is two). At this she mentioned that her schools basement was full of trophy mounts and rugs for the blind students to learn about animals. I thought this was incredible!. In a day and age of political correctness run amuk there are people, from a state run agency no less that have the common sense to do the right thing and help those who will never know the beauties of the wild enjoy them in some small way. So I ask you, in what ways can your love of the outdoors benefit those who can't, for whatever reason, be part of the hunting community.
I'd like to end with asking anyone who wants to get rid of a mount for some reason please consider donating it to a school for the blind. I hope I don't sound to preechy or like a bleeding heart.
