How is Atlantic Firearms?

FYI , if there is a legitimate issue with a product we ship , we would have no problem replacing the product or refunding the order and we will also pay return ship . We are gun guys here and know what it is like to get gun that is new but does not work the way it should and try to make the return process as painless as possible if it should arise .

They shipped my PSL yesterday. Hopefully I will receive it this week.

I already purchased 700 rounds of light ball 148-150 grain 7.62x54 to break it in :)

I recently ordered a AK from Atlantic. The order was faxed to them by my FFL late in the day, the gun was shipped the following day.

Have to say here that I cannot pick up the rifle until this Friday, but thus far I have to commend Atlantic for ease of ordering and prompt shipping. This one was my first internet firearm purchase and they've made it pretty easy...

Just hope the SSR85 Poly is as nice as I anticipate.

I've ordered several guns from Atlantic, and will order from them again in the future. Good guys, and have never fed me a line of BS regarding delivery dates. Everything has come in on time, including a DSA FAL I ordered through them.

I thought that I had responded on this thread already.

My first AKM was a SAR-1 from Atlantic. I called them before ordering to discuss canted sights. Atlantic verbally guaranteed me a straight rifle and put together an accessories package for me (mostly discounted extra magazines) for a few bucks extra. Everything was in excellent condition as advertised. IIRC, the turnaround time was very fast, also. This was in 2000.

Update on my Atlantic purchase:

My rifle shipped with zero mags. There were supposed to be three.

I emailed them and it didn't sound like they were going to fix the problem, but then about a week later a box with two mags arrived at my house. So I am still short one mag, but I am glad they believed me enough to partially correct the problem.

Part of my PSO mil surplus scope was badly rusted, so I had to soak it for a few hours and hit it with a hammer to free the nut that holds the scope on the side rail. Once I got that free, I lubricated it and it works fine.

About the rifle: Nice quality and very accurate. I was worried about the quality of a Romanian rifle, especially when I was paying $800. It shoots great though.

Overall, I recommend them and I would buy from them again.

hey, this thread is back...

my new input:

I got my converted Saiga from them. I'm mostly happy with it. The only drawback to mine is the lack of a bullet guide, which I can fix myself.

but despite that, Atlantic offers good, quick service, so A+ to them for that. But, I'd say that they should drop Tennessee Gun from their distribution line-up for the time being when it comes to the conversions. I could have avoided that and did it myself instead of being too afraid to try, but overall what I got shoots great and looks great.

So, this thread goes zombie...

I got my Saiga from them on time. It was a stock Saiga (not the conversions they also sell), and was 100% NIB and as promised. No issues at all. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

Now, since I know they're reading this, I would like it if they put some more detail in the description of each item... especially with the AKs listed, it's often hard to tell who made it, and exactly what you're getting. I'd especially like it to be listed if the US parts count on all the foreign-type guns is high enough that foreign mags can be used without 922(r) issues. I assume that's the case, but I'd like to know for sure.

I purchased a Lancaster AK from them about a month ago and it was great working with them.

The rifle was shipped quickly, no problems with the ordering, and they were quick to answer a couple of emails that I had sent regarding my order status and questions about the gun.

If the need arises for another purchase, I would happily order from Atlantic again.

By the way, my Lancaster is a thing of beauty. Accurate, no problems after 500+ rounds, and very well put together.
