How many AR-15 magazines do you have?

Actually, I had something like 8 cases at one time, sold many during the last election and bought a good size gunsafe, horse-traded a case for a new SKS rifle.
While home on R&R recently, traded 78 mags for a very decent Remmie M-141 in 35 caliber. These were 30 rounders, still have a stash of around 50 for my own use plus twenty or so 20 rounders. Some of those are the elusive Colt mags from the 1970's.

I bought a paper grocery bag full of GI 20 & 30 round M16 mags at a garage sale once for $5.00 bucks.

Thats what makes the AR-15 great!

i own over 200, 20 round Colt made magazines still in their military wrap. They came from an ammunition destruction job i ran.

I need to buy some more mags for my FNP, but they are so expensive. I guess that is one great thing about AR mags...they are half the price of auto pistol mags.

I want more mags, less for the fact that I may need them all at once, and more for the parts aspect. Who knows if I will be able to get springs and followers for my FNP or my Glocks 20 years from now.

I can't see loading everyone I have but I do keep a quantity loaded that is dedicated to each rifle, beyond that the rest would be called spares.
I remember well the 10 rd days and won't get caught like that again.

I have four rifles/carbines that take AR15 mags and have about 60 total, mixture of 20 and 30 round, plus 1 Beta mag.

I believe I have 14 5.56 AR mags (mix of Pmags and C-prod with a few 40rd mags thrown in the mix). I also have 5 6.8 AR mags with 3 more on the way.

It seems like the anti-hicap mag rhetoric is ramping back up, I might pick up a few more sometime soon.

I got my first/only AR (or "assault rifle" at all) earlier this month.

I have 9 magazines. Seems adequate to me. (accidentally voted 8)

2x Colt 20 rounders that came with it
1x 20 round pmag
6x 30 round pmag


I'll probably select half of them to set aside, after assuring reliability, and half of them to use at the range.

When you find Pmags for $9.99, you tend to stock up a bit. Doesn't hurt that a buddy gave me a ton of USGI's for free. Sad thing is, I need to buy more to store ammo in.

I hate having ammo with out magazines to put them in. Same for magazines without ammo to put in it. Meh, just gives me an excuse to myself to buy more of each
