You guys alphabetized your lists. Are you that anal about all things?

Ironic that a guy whos screen name is that of a philosopher who believed in perpetual flux would be so ordered. :)

[Edit: add Preacherman to the list]

No, actually I went with the most aesthetic ones. The first that popped into my mind were the Belgian Brownings with their nice workmanship and attention to detail. Then the Colts both AR15 and 5" centerfire automatics - these are my hands down favorite guns, even thought the workmanship does not usually attain the Belgian Browning level. The P08 is just the coolest mechanical piece of workmanship. How the designer got such a convoluted mechanism to function (after a fashion) provokes my admiration. It's like he designed it for looks first, as I believe it is about the most aesthetic gun there is, THEN he figured out how to make it work withing the parameters of its looks. The only other guns that have that effect on me would be the mid nineteenth century Colt cap n ball revos. Perfect FORM, imho.

The other guns are far down on my chart from these. Hell I even forgot S&W which is my third favorite and I have about a shopping cart full. Also Valmet AK47 type, Marlin 336, L.A.R Grizzly, SVD Dragunov - the best 30 cal imho, etc. etc.

Thanks for asking, Ma! :D

Several years ago I sat down and tried to list all of the firearms I have owned in the past.
I gave up at over 50.

I had to sell a bunch of them years ago just to make ends meet till I got a good job.
I've been buying more since!

These type questions get harder every year. I think I will try in order of acquiring.
