How many have bought a "Heller Handgun"?

I want to buy a Heller Special S&W Model 60 and 63, but like Owen Meany, i'm stuck with some "Heller" ammo

No Heller handguns, but I'm working on a scary, black AR-15 with lots of eeeeevil hi-cap mags. And I'll be stocking up on a bunch of vicious, super dooper high-powered .223 ammo that will stop a T-72 in it's tracks! ;)

At least it'll T-off an anti somewhere.

My father will be ordering a Baby Desert Eagle Semi-Compact in 9mm tomorrow ... his first handgun will be a Heller!

I am pretty much set in the guns area, be it handgun or otherwise.

But I did purchase some ammunition to celebrate the ruling, lol.

I'd been thinking about buying a gun based on the Heller outcome, no matter what that outcome actually was -- and that's the day I decided to get the Witness that's now being shipped :)

Thinking of getting it engraved with both my law school's logo (Temple Law -- and No, it's not a very pro-gun place) and a citation to the case, as well as to the 2d Amdt. Need to find an engraver with good rates for all that, though ;)

p.s. For purposes of idiots in Washington, D.C., I'll pretend along with them that mine is a "machine gun."

I bought this.

I stumbled onto something I have been wanting while picking up a Colt Trooper that just happened to arrive that day, and it seemed the perfect purchase for Heller.

Nice! :D

I would have liked to buy a gun in honor of the Heller decision.. unfortunately I have no money. I need to sell a gun or two .. or maybe some of my organs or something.. before I can buy more.

I had plans to go out and buy a brand new semi-auto handgun to celebrate the Heller ruling. But I couldn't get out to the next town where the closest gun store is. Instead I had to settle for American flags on my AR-15.

More "in case of Obama" than Heller, but I'm scarifying my 10/22 with a Tapco T6 stock and Tactical Innovations T125 banana mag.

Also have a CZ 452 Military Trainer on layaway.

Almost zero chance that I'll get a nice scary black centerfire before it's too late. Good thing I have my SKS and Mosin Finnish M39 already!

That's exactly why I bought my AR. Took me 8 months to pay it off but I got in under the wire. I haven't even shot it yet but at least I know I've got one. Now I really want a Sabre Defence upper in 6.8 SPC to go with it. I still might pick up a stripped lower or two just to tinker with later on.

Not really in celebration... but close enough.

I picked up a M&P compact 40 to celebrate Heller and ordered some accompanying leather from FIST. My next purchase will be a 308 bolt action and some glass, probably a Rem LTR.

Happy Birthday America and God bless ya.

I just got the Trainer myself. I was hoping to try it for the first time yesterday but the range I frequent was closed for maintenance :( . Maybe tomorrow. What a nice handling rifle though, you are gonna love it! The bolt is stiff, but once you remove it for a good clean/lube and work the action 100+ times it will losen up quite a bit.

My father has an SKS that he keeps in my safe (along with the CZ-452) and I'd really like to add an M39 next year. I'm working on the AR right now. Looks like our safes look a lot alike . The M39s are safe from another AWB, but they are getting more rare by the day.

You should have plenty of time to get your scary black rifle. Figure the next President and Congress won't come in until Jan '09, and it would probably be at least a few months beyond that before any :cuss: legislation is signed, if it comes up at all. Hopefully this next batch of self-serving politicians will be bright enough to figure out that they have more to lose politically from passing something like an AWB II than they have to gain.

Uum John, bought mine right before the ruling; but I will cherish my
purchase just the same~! :D

Its a Smith & Wesson 4" pencil barrel .38 Special model 10, with a
glamarous factory nickel finish and square butt that dates back to
being manufactuered between 1963-1965 (C737xxx S/N); as per
the 3rd edition of Standard Catalog Of Smith & Wesson by Jim Supica
and Richard Nahas. ;)

Wow I'm glad I came across this thread. That's what I can tell myself about buying this last week. It was a Heller thing. Patriotic. Yeah.

Here is my nod to Heller, but more of an "in your face" to antis!

May have to slash and re-crown the barrel....
