how many rounds of what do you have

Im going to start reloading soon and was wondering whats the average number of rounds people keep and of what caliber. Im going to reload .223 for my mini-14, 45 acp for the xd, and 30-06 for the 700. i bought a lee hand press, speed is not a big deal, saving space is.

id love to have 10K rounds for the mini laying around. :)
 
I keep that number a secret just like my bank account, Lbs of powder, and number of primers I own.

I will say this, it is more than 1.
 
no secret with me: 30lbs of various powders, 5k primers, 1k of each caliber. As for loose brass - dunno - maybe another 1k of each caliber. Bullets - about the same 500-1k of each caliber.

I also load 12ga and 20ga and have 3000 hulls of each and about 200lbs of shot.
 
any where from a few thousand rounds for "don't shoot much" such as 1895 Nagant pistols to 35,000 rounds of 38 Spec. to 5 to 10 thousand rounds in various rifle caliber. 30-30,303 Brit,7.5x55 Swiss,8mm,7.62x54R,.308,M1 Carbine,7.62x39 ect,ect,ect. jwr

I stockpile just a handful fewer than the previous poster. :D

Not enough to get the government interested, but enough to make the fire department nervous. :uhoh:

Check your local laws if you're going to be stockpiling huge quantities of powder and make sure you're careful of sparks and fireplaces. :evil:
 
If you want 10,000 .223's laying around, my advise is log off and start pulling the leaver on that Lee.:D
My problem is I'm like a dope dealer-junkie. I'm my own best customer.
 
More than enough to cave in the floor of the house. Thats why I had to build a storage compartment inside the garage. ( according to SAMMI codes)
 
Well, here it goes.
I have well over 50,000 cases.(I can't help myself, I have to pick the damn things up while working at the range).
Calibers: little tiny things, .28mm I think, .32, .380, 9mm, 40SW, .45GAP, .45 auto, .38spc, .357mag, .45 Colt, .44mag, .50ae, 10mm, 7.62x39mm, .243, 22-250, 220swift, 30-06, .308, .50bmg, .351, .223, 300 win mag,
That's all I can think of right now
Please don't pm me, None of the cases have been checked or cleaned, working on it though.
 
I have only factory ammo loaded currently.
All my reloading stuff needs to be reloaded. All in all a hell of a lot less than some of the posters. But more than 1 for each weapon I own.
 
I have an M1(30-06), CZ527(762x39mm), 9mm, 40SW, and .45GAP. All of my brass is used, mostly once fired, and I collect every thing I can when working at the range. I don't know what I'll do with it all yet but I'm keeping it.

Never ask a woman about about quantity or size, they don't have a clue. It's not their fault, we've lied to them for years about both. Having said that, enough loaded and probably enough components to last a lifetime.
