Ditto. My training emphasized controlling the muzzle at all times, and I have been fortunate enough never to have lost my grip on things. I have fallen with a gun, but was able to keep muzzle of shotgun up.
Once last week at a busy park full of patents and kids. Had a Tulster kydex holster with one of those ever so popular polymer belt clips get caught on the chain of a swing I was sitting on as I stood up. The clip was ripped from my belt, and my gun and holster fell to the ground.
Not sure why there isn't a industry wide PSA and tongue lashing against the use of those type of clips.
