Recently replaced my mag tube spring when I added an extension and cut it down just enough for all shells to fit. I just read somewhere that if you don't have an inch or so of play in the spring when fully loaded then you are damaging it. Anything to that?
(And I'm using a Brownell's aluminum follower, not a tailed follower fyi)
