How much would you pay for a used glock 19?

Around here a 3rd Generation G-19 with night sights & one mag can usually be found for $350. At least that is what they go for at a local pawn shop that is also a Glock law enforcement dealer. If anyone wants to know where it is Ed's Pawn Shop in Stockbridge, GA (Also known as Ed's Public Safety). I would imagine by the time someone had it shipped & did the transfer it would kill any savings though.

~$400 in VG condition where I live. If patient, PSA runs a 10% off sale about twice/year and a new gen3 is $450+tax. Makes the used market a little tough.

Here in Georgia, it's pretty rare to see a real nice one with all the factory-original stuff, for under $450, at least from what I generally see on Armslist and The Outdoors Trader.

Online, I usually see people wanting to get their money back. Well, one can want $500-550, but...... Some may get more reasonable when holiday expenses loom.

How about $399 for a new Gen 4?

I would go one of two ways here if I wanted another Glock:

Option #1 you care that its a Gen 3 or 4. I would join GSSF for $30 & get any Glock at cost. Or maybe you are a First Responder, Millitary, or a Pilot/ TSA then you get the discount automatically. Info is here...

Option #2 you don't care what Generation it is you just want a shooter. I would search the online sites & locally at gun shops & pawn shops for the cheapest most worn out looking Glock (they don't wear out really). Buy it for $150 - $200 then send it into Glock for a Factory Reconditioning. You get basically a new Gen 2 pistol for very little investment.
Either way good luck. G-19 are awesome. I personally have a G-23 with a convertion barrel so it shoots 9mm & .40

I pay $400 to $450 and then sell them for $400 to $450 about a year later depending on condition and configuration. 99% of the time they are LNIB with night sights. I find that used prices vary greatly depending on location. Some guns have lots of quality used firearms in the market others not so much.

It takes me about a year to then want to have one in the safe again so I rinse and repeat. However they never stay because they simply don't get shot as often as my other guns so they get sold. :what:

@VAgunner..... Yep. Me too. I don't love them, so I sell them, but then I want one because they go bang pretty consistently. I think I've been through at least 5 G19 and equally as many G26. Don't have one now, but am tempted to get another 19 and KEEP it (at least until oh look, a squirrel).

If I look online for the local gun sales used G19 are being listed for $425+.

However, I go to my favorite gun store and find them in the $350 - $375 range.

Police trade Glock's go for $329 when they get them in. 3 mags with dim night sights.

I just sold a 2012 Gen 4 with 3 mags and a beat up CBST holster for $450.00. It had the "frying pan" finish on it. I posted it on a local forum and it sold in less than 10 minutes. The guy was happy to pay me. Got me thinking maybe I listed it too low.

Any glock around here is good for $400. A gen 4 maybe $500 i have often seen people make money on used glocks.

Most used Glocks tend to be priced higher than what I am personally willing to pay, so I would go for new because they tend to hold their value to a point where the price of new vs. used is often not that much of a difference.

If you are looking for a Gen 4 G19, the price difference between a good condition used 19 and a brand new 19 could be under a $100. Even older generation Glock's hold a high value, especially in standard LE-grade calibers such as the 19.

(edit: with that said, I've seen killer deals on Glocks in .45 GAP, 10mm, and (to a lesser extent) .357 SIG. My guess is the higher cost of feeding results in some Buyers changing to a different caliber that is less expensive/more readily available?)
