How often does Ruger make stainless MKIII's? What's the next best alternative?

Where can I find a Ruger MKiii Stainless tapered barrel?
Like this one http://www.ruger.com/products/markIIIDE/specSheets/10115.html

I've looked everywhere, about a dozen gun stores and I called Ruger and their distributer but couldn't get any useful info.

I've thought about if I can't find a stainless Ruger MKIII I'll just get the regular and send it to get a tennifer/melonite treatment like whatever the Glock has and then get it Cerakoted. I'm having a huge issue with rust since I live next to basically a swamp, the humidity is massive plus my, uh, I guess acidic sweat/oil on my skin or something is basically a rust attack waiting to happen. I have to keep my guns oiled regularly and any time I touch the metal I have to rub that part with oil if I don't want it to rust weeks later.

Can you have the entire handgun "all the metal parts" of the regular MKIII's nitride treated? I've did a quick google search I just see people doing it to their barrels. I'd like to get every metal part that is susceptible to rust, treated.
What would probably be the best option for an MKIII? I've also seen threads on nickle and chrome plating. What's the longest lasting most rust resistant/durable option if I can't get stainless steel?
I thought about having it as my car gun. So after work or whatever if I'm in town and I want to go to the range or something I don't have to drive way back to my house. And I've heard keeping guns in cars increases chances of rust.

I thought about getting an MKII since I've seen a few used ones on gunbroker and armslist that weren't too bad in price. But I'm not a fan of the bottom magazine release thing. And I like the more tapered barrel style design of the MKIIIs better. Which is why I haven't really thought about getting the bull barrel design in stainless.

The old saying about how guns only have two enemies, politicians and rust couldn't be more true.

Stainless should be called rust resistant, rather than rust proof.
Ask any scuba diver.
So, don't be discouraged by not being able to find the stainless version of the Ruger.
There are many other ways to deal with preventing rust.

You might also want to consider hard chrome plating, like that offered by Mahovsky's Metalife, if you want a finish that is both durable and corrosion resistant. I have carried and shot this Beretta Model 70S for many years and it still looks as great as the day I got it back from being plated.

Mark III is a poor replacement for a MKII. You aren't using it for SD so the mag release is no big deal. Find a used SS Mark II before they get stupid expensive. Every good firearm that was replaced with something inferior will get expensive. That's the MK II.
