Don't have a handbook handy and couldn't find anything by searching. How often should the 550 be greased? Is there some formula like every so many bullets loaded? Kind of a messy job so its not something I want to arbitrarily do! :banghead:

Hi.
One time/year.
A good motor 20w40 oil and a bit of litium lube, it´s all you need.
Greetings.

Use Blue Smurf Grease!

I clean my RL550b, and XL650's about every 2,000 rounds. Unless I start having issues sooner. Every time I clean them, I hit the grease fittings with a squirt of grease. This may be over kill, but I have only replaced 1 part on my XL650 (my fault I broke it while cleaning), and never had a broke part, or issue with my 550. All three presses look, and run like brand new presses after 50k+
