5.56 mmNATO LC Brass
Great brass and seems to be plentiful for the time being anyway.Seems I heard some rumblings of the LC brass becomng extinct thru a plant shutdown. I hope this is incorrect . Some lots do run a little short though-why I couldn't say but I've loaded some as short as 1.735 once-fired thru my MINI-14 with no problems. Could not discuss accuracy due to my average MINI-14's 3-6 MOA on any given day.(Gotta send that to Odessa,Tx. one day) I've noticed the same short once-fired in gov't spec. Federal and Winc. .45ACP brass as well.I'm a little more careful here as it's supposed to headspace from the case mouth.
P95Carry, Speer and some others call the .223 trim to length @ 1.750. I've seen it both ways. One more firing should get you back on track,Tommygun.
