I set my .338 /.378 Weatherby seating die too short and compressed the necks of two cases. I would like to pull the bullets and try to resize them. My kinetic puller is too small for the job. Is there another method, or do ruin the bullets by using a pliers? The cartridges will chamber, but I am concerned about an overpressure condition.

Using your press without the die installed, you should be able to yank the bullet without too much effort.

A couple wraps of masking tape on the bullet and be careful to only grasp it tight enough with the pliers to pull it should work. Using pliers with a round area to grab will help also.

Small marks on the sides of the bullet should be cosmetic only and won't affect the performance.

It is highly unlikely your "accident" will raise pressures to a level to be concerned about. Going a bit deeper with rifle cases, especially large ones, is safe enough. (But going long, especially long enough to put the bullet into the lands may not be safe.)

Thanks for the info. I pulled them according to your advice RecoilRob. The bullets look great. The Col was 3.665", which was off the lands. I was concerned about the steeper neck angle. Well, after resizing, the neck angle looks better and the slight buldge at the neck base is gone. If they were .308 I would have trashed them. At $2.85 a case, I'm glad for any help I can get.
