I'm pulling the bullets of some bad 30-30 ammo. My plan is to reload them with the same powder and bullets after adjusting the charge weight.

My question is this... is there any need to resize the necks? Or will the neck tension still be ok after inertially pulling the bullets?

What's correct and customary in these cases?

If your decapper can be removed from the resizing die, remove it so you don't punch out your primers.

"...any need to resize the necks?..." Yep. If you don't you'll likely have trouble putting the bullets back in. Just take out the decapping pin.
