How to repair a 1903 Colt .32 Hammerless mag? Its not an original one, its a repop from Brownells I think, but it is stuck and I can't get more than one round into it. I took it apart once already from the top but I think the follower is bent slightly wrong, or else the spring is not set correctly--how do I get it working again? Pics attached. I would appreciate guidance from anyone who know these mags or the correct position for the follower.

No guarantees but someone apparently lost the original follower and made another one out of a piece of steel. The original followers have only two sides, looking from the side like a slightly open "L". If you have time, you can play around with pieces of steel and try to get things right, but my suggestion is that you buy at least one new one, and then if it works you can try to match its follower for the old one. Or just buy a couple of new mags and keep the old one in the "rainy day" box.

the thing is, the other working mag I bought 5 years ago from Brownells (apparently discontinued now) has the exact same thing--the follower is a piece of steel bent into three pieces, rather than two as per the original design. It works perfectly--attached is a pic showing its look. I took the follower of mag #2 out and then beat and hammered and filed the follower of mag #1 into the same exact shape--it would not work! So now I have to think the mag casing is maybe crushed in some and not providing the enough space for the follower to move up and down freely. That's my guess.
