How to scope a Taurus 941?

I've been looking at backpacking / kit guns and have concluded that my Taurus 941 in 22 mag may be a better choice than any of the takedown 22 rifles, particularly if I can use an easy to mount and remove small scope or reddot.

Is there any way to scope (or install a reddot) on a 941 without drilling and tapping? If not, what mount would you suggest? What can I expect to pay to get the the 941 drilled and tapped?
