Blue Book often times is not in touch with market pricing, Obama tax or not. I have seen pricing both over and under market value.
There is nothing wrong with POLITELY making someone a lower offer, but it is never kosher to be a jerk and give the seller a hard time because you do not like his asking price... It is simply just none of your business.

The Obama threat has driven the prices up, but the UNINFORMED first time gun buyer has also driven the prices to record highs plus many unscrupulous dealers.
