I hope this can be posted here -Im not shure if it can be -It important -!!
THIS is the ANTI GUN org made to look like -The pro hunting and pro gun -hunt and shoot .org
-The good guys - http://www.huntandshoot.org/

The bad guys -- http://www.huntersandshooters.com/index.php
These skumbags have tricked us and are a front for ANTI GUNNERS!!
Check the e-mail I just got from the --They got Claier Mccaskil -Democrat elected -We all know where dems stand on our rights !!
Spread the word DONT let anyone send them money !
Thanks _ They want Bans on 50cal and any semiautos !!!

As a hunter who is proud of the American hunting tradition there is no doubt in my mind that the senior leadership of the National Rifle Association has sold us out and become a front group for the Republican Party. The GOP's interests come first -- and that leaves hunters behind. There's a reason Grover Norquist and CPAC's David Keene sit on the NRA's Board -- and I think we all know it has nothing to do with hunting or gun rights.

But it's not enough to say this in the blind to my buddies while waiting for the ducks to come. That's why I'm writing to you today and that's why I started the American Hunters and Shooters Association (AHSA) so that we can stand up for gun owners and reject the extremism of the NRAWe all know the NRA has no qualms about attacking gun owners who don't agree with their "soldier of fortune" philosophy. Remember Jim Zumbo, the dean of outdoor writers whose 30 year career was destroyed by NRA because he had the audacity to write that AK-47s were not a good choice for prarie dog hunting. Or Smith & Wesson, when they agreed with the Clinton administration that a free gun lock with a new gun is a good idea. Now the NRA wants to label AHSA as the "enemy in camouflage". The problem is most rational thinking sportsmen are beginning to understand that it's really the NRA who is trying to pull the wool over the eyes of America's 40 million hunters. leadership.

By your title, it sounds like hunt and shoot.org are the bad guys, yet you say they are the good guys. They are at it again, are they? At what? You don't say. You only say that the folks at huntersandshooters.com are the anti-gun people.

As for the scumbags having tricked "us," I don't know who "us" is but if you can't tell the difference in web sites, you might want to be more careful with your surfing. Just because you have been duped doesn't make it so for everyone.

I think you are still confused as to which site is which.

HEY! Let's get with it. Sign up as Sarah Brady and send them messages to let them know their scam is "outted".

Refund Policy
AHSA does not have a refund policy. All transactions are made in U.S. dollars.

I think this part is important, they hope to get some donations before anyone figures it out, thats why they have this info at the bottom of the page.

Ummm, I believe the rifle Zumbo commented on was the AR-15. And Zumbo was toasted on the gun forums waaay before the NRA or any other organization got involved.

Despite the very poorly worded initial post, the AHSA is a well known anti-gun organization.

Their mission statement includes a statement saying they favor restrictions of "military style weapons" and say that they do not believe in "unrestricted access to firearms" whatever that means.....

They have been around a good while, their tactics are well known.

AHSA Policy Statement: Modern Fifty Caliber Semiautomatic Rifles
Issue: Modern semiautomatic .50 caliber BMG sniper rifles are weapons designed for military use that combine long range, accuracy, and massive power. Intended for use in combat situations, these weapons can penetrate structures and destroy or disable light armored vehicles, radar dishes, helicopters, stationary airplanes, and other “high-value” military targets. The Branch Davidian cult in Waco, Texas, Al Qaeda, the Irish Republican Army, street and motorcycle gangs in California, Missouri and Indiana, and various militia groups and criminals across the United States are all documented as having possessed or used modern .50 caliber BMG sniper rifles.

Sorry I confused everyone ----There whole purpose is to confuse gun owners!
Spread the word !
Thanks again !!!!

Now it's really starting to sound like something Geck045 would write. In one of his posts, he said. "Gone were the days when the gangbangers just carried Lorcin .25s and .38s or whatever, now they have [insert all kinds of tactical stuff]) I forgot the contents of Gecko's post.

Now, the Mall Ninja might just be a prankster, but the AHSA is evidently, a little mole with biting venomous teeth sent deep into our ranks trying to prey on us. I see. Probably another Brady trick. They can't defeat us at the front, they might try stabbing us in the back. If it's true, it takes "corruption" to a whole new level.

Maybe we should forward them Jim Zumbos recent resume to them to shwo how popular they will be by pursuing a ban in the name of hunters.

They'll eventually dry up and blow away the way their predecessors the "National Firearms Association" did in the '80s. Truth be told, most shooters have never heard of AHSA and probably never will.

I have to admit though that I DID enjoy putting the rhetorical boot in on NFA in usenet in the '80s. Boy, they just never thought people would start demanding to know who was on their Board of Directors... :)

Naw, but people keep posting their links on pro gun web sites like this, driving up their web hits, spreading the knowledge of their existence.
And that basically means that the ONLY shooters who know who they are hate and despise them and would do pretty much anything within the limits of the law to destroy them as an organization.

Somebody should ask how that's working for them... :D

sportsmen overwhelmingly support reasonable gun safety proposals. Moreover, an overwhelming majority of hunters support proposals like background checks to purchase guns, keeping military style assault weapons off our streets and the elimination of cop killer bullets.

Yeah, I got this off their site. Any sportsman knows there is no difference between a semi-auto and generic "assault rifle"...

I just sent them the following and signed it Hillary Obama.

I am having trouble with your site. It keeps spewing what you think we are naive enough to take for the truth all over my monitor. Take your trash and go peddle it to the UN.

You mean "cop killer" bullets like hunting rifles use? Yeah I'm sure the overwhelming majority supports that. :fire:

Apparently, just fine. They have already lasted longer that most startup sole proprietorships. They have lasted much longer than Predator Ranch, a new, state of the art training facility south of DFW run by Matt Burkett and others that went under within weeks of opening in 2007.

Their web site works very well. They have good images, good graphics, the video is pretty slick. I would not say that the organization appears to be floundering in any way.
